We LOVE to hear from our visitors, which is why I love the work I do. I get to share with people on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Youtube and now in our new blogging platform. Our visitors are often passionate about Nova Scotia and we're so lucky to share in their adventure.
So when we launched the iLOVE Nova Scotia Contest, it was exciting because the experiences are real. From the surfers who spent their New Years Eve in our frigid waters, to the beautiful spirited Potter girls playing on our beaches, to a girl form Toronto who always dreamed of living here, to a German gent who can't resist returning year after year, we love to hear from you. How better to learn about all those unique experiences than to listen to visitors and Nova Scotians alike about what they LOVE?
I cannot help but feel proud after watching some of these videos. And never a more true word is spoken for me than that of that sweet Irish couple who said..."It's the people, the people, the people...and then there's the people isn't there love".
So...if you LOVE Nova Scotia SHARE it! We still want to hear from you. It doesn't have to be fancy, it doesn't have to be professional...it just have to be honest and real.
And then VOTE for your favourite! Our participants have worked so hard on their entries. Many of them are promoting their videos to family and friends across their social networks like Twiter and Facebook. They're working hard to try and win that dream vacation. We love the passion.
Lastly DREAM about it. A $15,000 dream vacation that is customized to what you love means something different for everybody. One person's tour of all the vineyards is another person's family reunion around the province. The possibilities are endless! What would it look like for you?
